just lazin' around.

I wish I could say I wear this outfit to be lazy.  Actually, I'm currently wearing sweatpants and a giant Goodwill sweater.  Not cute.  Anyways, I love over-the-knee socks, and they're actually pretty warm.  Kind of.

Also, Rach and I just found out that we made the top all-girls choir at our school for next year. AKA "Accents." I'm superrrr excited, because I already know a lot of girls in it next year, and everyone says it's really fun.  Not that you care...

lace and oak trees.

Hey readers! So I’ve always been a big fan of lace and sheer, plus the whole zippers thing.  This is kind of the look im going towards for spring.

walkin in my 501's

Well, these are my mom's from before she had her four kids, the youngest of which is yours truly.  No wonder these pants are so tight on me...

winter sucks.

Hiiiiiii (: So winter is starting to suck away my creativity.  It’s times like these where I gotta rely on my style basics.  Which brings me to the olive green/black mix.  I am in love with these pants.  I’d like to think that they’re similar to the Alexander Wang half leather/half legging spandex combos.  You can’t really tell from these pictures but the front side is leather and the back is spandex, so from the side theres this cool contrast.  And then I paired them with this olive green sweater.  It used to be a plain knitted sweater, but I got bored one day (and since I’m all for the destroyed look) I just spontaneously decided to cut a bunch of holes in it.  Grunge?

the army scares me.

Hellooo! So this jacket is, once again, my grandpa's.  That in itself makes it really cool.  But the thing that makes it even cooler is the fact that it's his jacket from when he served in the military.  I recently went through all our old dress up clothes.  Which, if you've ever seen those gigantic boxes in my basement, it did not take a short amount of time.  We have about 7 huge tubs overflowing with dress up clothes.  But they're not princess costumes and normal stuff like that.  It's little bits and pieces of every adult I know's clothing from the 19500's-2000's.  Which is totally awesome.  I found a busload of stuff. Like this gem right here. Oh, and the shoes! They're my mom's from when she started teaching school in the 70's.

All the stuff smelled really bad...

this has no title.

Hey dolls! Todays my mom's birthday, so I wanna give a shot out to Kathy…good times. I was forced to go to Red Lobster for her birthday dinner tonight.  Luckily they have chicken fingers-the one non seafood thing on the menu! I kind of eat like a little kid at all times…but anyways to the fashion.

I love love love Burberry Prorsum. I am always so inspired by their runway shows.  One trend I really took to was the leather/shearling mix.  I found this knockoff jacket at Forever 21 (of course haha) and I’m really happy with it.  It has that edgy motorcycle look I like with the zippers but adds shearling. And of course, I had to mix it with the army green that Burberry also made popular this season.

look at that halo.

Hello there, lovelies!  Alright, so this jacket is, once again, thrifted.  I bought it for, like, 4 bucks with the idea that even if I don't wear it, it's just 4 bucks.  But it's really itchy because it's made out of wool.  And it also had some really hideous shoulder pads I had to cut out.  Now, don't get me wrong, I love the whole strong shoulders trend, but this was more of an old lady shoulder pad thing.  Not cute.

Also, you should also listen to Cut Copy's new album.  Zonoscope.  It's tight.
