look at that halo.

Hello there, lovelies!  Alright, so this jacket is, once again, thrifted.  I bought it for, like, 4 bucks with the idea that even if I don't wear it, it's just 4 bucks.  But it's really itchy because it's made out of wool.  And it also had some really hideous shoulder pads I had to cut out.  Now, don't get me wrong, I love the whole strong shoulders trend, but this was more of an old lady shoulder pad thing.  Not cute.

Also, you should also listen to Cut Copy's new album.  Zonoscope.  It's tight.

i'm swedish.

Hey, hey, hey ladiesss! I hope everyone had a great week.  Mine has been actually really good. We didn’t have school Monday (Thank you presidents!), so it’s gone by fast.  It’s already almost the weekend! It is going to be busy because on Saturday my and Anna's band has our first performance!! And it’s at the Palladium, which is freaking scary. But im also really excited (: We’re going to sing covers of Tiger Mountain Peasant Song by Fleet Foxes and Hard Believer by First Aid Kit.  Then later that day, our school has Dance Marathon for six hours, which I’m also excited about.

Anyways, this has been one of my go-to winter outfits.  It doesn’t offer much warmth, but pain is beauty right?  I love the whole chunky knits trend right now. And of course, I gotta have my leathers!  I hope everyone has amazing weekends!

i'm a lumberjack.

Hello, my lovelies! How have your days been? Mine has been pretty good, actually.  Rach and I are playing/singing at the Palladium on Saturday, I'm going to Broad Ripple with my brother tonight and my parents just said I could go see Pomegranates and Ra Ra Riot play at the Earth House in a few weeks.  So...i'm actually having an awesome day. :]

Anyways, I love love love this jacket.  It's my grandpa's from the '60s, so it's already super soft and broken in.  I also love these shoes.  And this hat. Pretty much this entire outfit.  It kinda reminds me of a lumberjack, hence the title, which reminds me of that one song from Monty Python.  It basically gets sung in my house on a weekly basis.  I'm not lying.  Take a look.

Also, my legs look super deformed in the first picture. Sorry about that.

happy late singles awareness day!

Hello everyone!  This is our late Valentines Day post.  Did you have a good one?  Mine was ok.  I got some flowers and chocolate but I don’t have a boyfriend so it wasn’t great.  I was feeling the love in the air, so I went out girly for this one..well atleast my version of girly.  I paired my corset flower dress with my flower boots: I’m pretty much obsessed with these boots by the way! Theyre one of my staples.  And of course I had to add a lot of black with the fishnets (rawr!) and the sweater.  Have a great weekend everyone!!

vintage sundays.

Today's a good day for lazing around, I feel like.  I really don't want to take a shower (sorry if you're grossed out) and I woke up to the delicious aroma of cinnamon rolls, eggs, sausage, and strawberries.  My family hasn't eaten Sunday breakfast together for like four years.  My older sister just went back up to Purdue, so that's probably why.

Anyways, I just got this shirt at the Goodwill, and I'm a little nervous to wear it.  I'm not sure how I feel about polka dots.  They might be a little too out there for me.  Also, I'm technically not allowed to wear sheer out of the house.  My mom checks to see if you can see my bra through my shirt before I leave.  Some people just don't understand fashion...

sheena is a punk rocker.

So my name’s not Sheena...but I definitely channeled her. The Ramones are one of my favorite bands, and this is actually my favorite song of theirs.  I was in a screw-the-man mood today so I put on my Ramones shirt with the ripped jeans and high tops.  Simple but effective.  I hope your Mondays didn’t suck!  And rock onnnn?

ice storms.

I feel like everything on our blog is either thrifted or from Forever 21, but this time it's only...one of the above! Nothing on here is from Forever 21. But the shirt is thrifted.  Sorry, guys, we'll try to add a little variety.  Anyways, we had a huge ice storm here in Indiana and school has been closed for 2 days which is freaking awesome.  I really hope it's closed tomorrow, but I highly doubt it.  I knew I made the right choice by not finishing my homework...
